First time to Austin's.....our friends rave about this place, so we thought we would try it. The food was great! Reminded me of the Range house that used to be where Starbucks is on Broadway (near Louis). Our server can't remember her name, but she was absolutely awesome! Very friendly, never let us run out of drinks ! We will go back! My favorite food item, though, was the fried OKRA....

Update: Every time I go I'm amazed at how good everything is. I have a love-hate relationship with this place. It's hard to want to go to other places when this place has so many different types of foods and they're all above average in my opinion. Plus for what you pay especially around lunch time it's hard to get even fast food for the same price. Time and time again the food and service is better than all buffets in the area. I came back for another meal and the place was much cleaner and the service was even better. I'll tell you for my money it's the best buffet to get steaks at. I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty the food was here. The steak was so tender and juicy. I've dined at really nice steakhouses that didn't compare to this buffet. The drinks were always replaced before we needed them and the staff was friendly. That being said cleanliness at the tables was an issue and the dishes weren't cleared until the check came.

Great place for having breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lots of desert with yummy cakes and brownies. There is a salad section and more but 10 and under has to be accompanied by an adult. Nice lady helping people in restrooms for stalls before herself.

Party of 16 The server was great. The food was good. Unlimited catfish strips is always a plus. It was like a big southern Sunday dinner or Thanksgiving dinner with the works. Glad they had a salad bar and dessert including ice cream. We paid about 15 per person plus drinks.

In Knoxville it doesn’t get much better than Austin’s! Prime Rib, New York Strip, crab cakes, shrimp, fried chicken, country fried steak & etc. The salad bar is always delicious & there’s plenty of deserts to choose from. Service has always been spot on. Lunch prices are great & always make it worth a stop. Love it!

I love this place so much, as well as the family. Speaking of family, Austin's is a great place for the family to dine, any time. The service isn't A-1 top notch but, they are close. The food is amazingly delicious and they have so much to choose from, having around 6 bar stations, If I remember that correctly. If not, I'm only off by one. Still, it's quite a bit to choose from and it's all delicious. They stay very busy but not so busy you're standing in line to eat for hours. I don't believe my family and I have ever waited longer than 10 minutes(if that long) in line before getting to the host/hostess to be seated. Even on a Sunday. I have never been during breakfast so I can only speak for dinner. I have never had a problem with service, food, or anyone else dining there. This is one of the top 5 places to eat around the Merchant area of Knoxville, TN. I love this place.

Buffet style restaurant with large salad bar. Lots of choices to choose from. Complete with desert bar. Pizza, wings, Mac and Cheese, Crab cakes, Steak, Prime rib, Ribs, Roast Beef, Turkey, Chicken and many side dishes. Well worth the money.
